To further enhance the academic influence of Current Biotechnology, foster reserve talents for the Editorial Board, and establish a platform for academic exchange and development for young scholars in the field of biotechnology, the journal launched the recruitment for the First Young Editorial Board in April 2025.
Since the release of the recruitment announcement, it has garnered extensive attention from young scholars across all branches of biotechnology. By the application deadline (June 10, 2025), more than 350 applications had been received. We hereby express our gratitude to all scholars for their interest and support for Current Biotechnology!
Following preliminary screening by the Editorial Office and review by the Editorial Board, a total of 115 young editorial board members covering various disciplines of biotechnology have been selected. Warm congratulations to the selected outstanding young scholars! We anticipate that they will inject vitality into the journal with innovative perspectives, shine in the exploration and application of biotechnology, and compose a brilliant chapter dedicated to the power of youth.
Meanwhile, more than 100 peer reviewers have been selected, and their certificates are being issued successively.
